de Lorenzi Custom Woodworking is owned and operated by Horst de Lorenzi.  A former IT professional, I was a hobbyist woodworker for over 25 years.  I switched to doing full-time custom furniture commissions, and repairing antiques, 12 years ago and in 2016 moved into my 1000 sqft shop just south of Julian, PA.

In 2020, during the pandemic, I decided to downsize my operation, literally.  I built a small but beautiful timber-framed shop in my backyard and focus on smaller projects, mostly 4ft in length or less.  The reduction in overhead has allowed me to slow down and focus on quality.
