de Lorenzi Custom Woodworking is owned and operated by Horst de Lorenzi. A hobbyist woodworker for over 25 years, I've been doing custom furniture commissions for over 10 years. A former IT professional, I made the switch to full-time woodworking in 2016 at my 1000sqft shop just south of Julian, Pennsylvania.
In 2020, during the pandemic, I decided to downsize my operation, literally. I built a small but beautiful timber-framed shop in my backyard and now focus on smaller projects, roughly 4ft or less in length. The reduction in overhead allows me to slow down and focus on quality.
